The Second Judicial District Department of Correctional Services is a public agency, created and established under Chapter 905 of the Code of Iowa and governed by a Board of Directors. We provide community-based correctional services to 22 counties in north central Iowa ( Boone, Bremer, Butler, Calhoun, Carroll, Cerro Gordo, Floyd, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hancock, Hardin, Humboldt, Marshall, Mitchell, Pocahontas, Sac, Story, Webster, Winnebago, Worth, and Wright ).
